How do I apply?

Before submitting your applications, please make sure you have read the Regulations, the Practice Area Assessment Guidelines and the Information for candidates document for your practice area.


The application fee for 2013 is 250 (plus VAT).

The annual fee for maintaining Signet Accredited status is currently 150 (plus VAT), payable in February each year.

Application process

1. Print off and complete the application form .

2. Send the completed and signed form, with your cheque for 300 including VAT to:

The Accreditation Manager
The WS Society
The Signet Library
Parliament Square

3. Send the Referee's report to your two referees and ask them to complete and return them to the above address as soon as possible.

We will acknowledge receipt of your application form. Once we have received the Referee reports we will process your application and confirm the outcome to you.
